During last week Mr Freeman had been in to start fitting the Kings through air pipe. This is so that we can work together with other air braked locos when the time comes.

I've took a couple a couple of shots from between the frames. One to follow the route of the new air pipe. But also so that you can see how much work has to go into the pipes and motion.

Working in tight spaces with moving motion, the line of pipes needs to be correct.

The automatic drip valve was the last piece of the injector puzzle to be fitted.

Mike has done a fantastic job with the inside cylinder cladding. It is such a tight space to work in, and yet with lots of patience he has done a superb job.

Another coat of undercoat was applied to the cab sides and splashers.

In the week we have got a welder also working on the boiler. He's to do list includes doing some building up work one the firebox corners, welding in the slots on the back head and also a job in the cab of the loco.

The first order of stays has arrived, 400 to be going on with. In the week Pete.G and Alex have put the first couple in.
