One of those jobs that just hadn't been done... Since the bogie went back under the loco in 1992, we just hadn't got round to finishing the underside paint work.

I took a few shots of the lubrication pipework. You can see why Pete.T & Tony have working hard on getting it done each weekend.

It is a complex layout, and bending the pipes in the correct order is very important.

Finishing touches like getting all the angles of the pipes the same, makes all the difference to the end result.

Pete.G and Alex have been very busy this week... around 400 stays have been put in on one side of the Kings boiler!
