5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe loaded test run

After running a hot box on the first test run, 5043 needed to have another one to get passed out for Mainline use. This took place on the Thursday 30th. A light engine run in the morning and this loaded run in the late afternoon.
She ran without fault and pasted in flying colours.

5043 is seen drifting into Stratford with 47773 & four coaches in tow.

After what must be the quickest Stratford turn round in history, 5043 is seen climbing out of Stratford up Wilmcote bank.
